SharePoint can be many things to many companies including:

  • Content Management
  • Document Management
  • Enterprise-wide search portal
  • Business Intelligence Dashboard

Fusion CRM have much experience integrating Microsoft SharePoint with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Examples of integrating a SharePoint Document Library into Microsoft CRM:

Telecoms company receiving signed contracts from a customer.  These are scanned into a SharePoint Document library which is then shown within a customer’s record in Microsoft CRM.  This makes the documents available to everyone in the company.

IT companies who manage system implementations can have a project area in Microsoft CRM with an integrated document library for all documents relating to a project.

Fusion CRM are currently implementing a SharePoint solution for a Hosted Microsoft CRM customer with 4 sites around the UK.  Historically, a potential client may obtain a quotation from more than one site.  SharePoint and Microsoft CRM will enable each site to share the same web-based document library enabling collaboration and a standard set of templates.

CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management.
In its basic form, CRM allows you to record details about Companies and Contacts you deal with – be they Customers, Suppliers or Prospects
Emails, phone calls and appointments can then be linked against these records. This allow companies to build up a history over time.
Ideally, everyone in a company should have access to the corporate CRM solution, allowing anyone who takes a call to quickly see what other members of staff have been saying. Allowing others to deal with the queries, this makes companies more efficient and helps provide a better level of service.
